If you pay even a little attention, you’ll see this film had everything.
If you didn’t notice, let me break it down for you.
Check No. 1 – The lead actor from Avatar was in it.
Check No. 2 – Tokyo from Money Heist was in it.
Check No. 3 – The actress who played Sylvie in Loki was there.
Check No. 4 – Kim Yoon-ji from Last Empress (a Korean drama) was there.
And the biggest check – Kevin Hart was in the film!
I mean, with a cast like this, what could possibly go wrong?
And yet… [music playing] there’s more to hear.
So yeah, I finally finished watching it.
You’ll find a couple of kissing scenes here and there, but apart from that, you can watch it with your family.
Now, talking about the story – it’s simple.
There’s a thief, he has a team, and there’s this Interpol officer.
Like in every heist drama, the officer offers the thief a deal –
“Help me with this one mission, and I’ll wipe your team’s criminal records clean.”
Which means, if they do her job, they all get a clean slate and can live peacefully.
So yeah, our lead actress offers this deal to our hero, Kevin Hart.
Now what exactly is the mission?
You’ll find out when you watch the movie.
But the real twist is how they pull off the heist, what they go through, and what’s the final result — you’ll have to watch the movie to know that.
BUT…
If we talk about the overall quality of the movie, here’s where things get a bit disappointing.
Because once I finished it, the negatives started piling up. So let’s begin with those.
✖️ Negative Points:
Negative No. 1:
This is a heist drama, and yet it fails to deliver the thrill, the tension, or even any real excitement to the audience.
It had all the elements, but the presentation? Super dull.
Negative No. 2:
The characters — you won’t connect emotionally with anyone.
None of their backstories feel meaningful. Everything stays on the surface.
Negative No. 3:
The villain side is ridiculously weak.
Everything just happens too easily.
The hero gets everything handed to him — total plot armor all the way.
Negative No. 4:
Despite having a talented cast, the director didn’t use their potential properly.
Biggest Disappointment – The Comedy:
You had Kevin Hart, one of the funniest guys out there…
And yet, the comedy? Completely flat.
I don’t even know what to say — there was nothing to laugh at.
I could go on with more negatives, but let’s not waste time.
✅ If we talk about one positive…
If you’re a fan of any of the actors, then maybe — just maybe — give it a watch for them.
But honestly, I’d say save your precious time.
You don’t need to watch this one.
This movie, in my opinion, is a total flop — below average.
The story had no real depth.
Even the so-called “high drama” didn’t pack any punch that would make me say,
“Yeah bro, you should definitely give this a try.”
There was nothing. Just a waste.
Now maybe if you’re a very casual viewer who’s never really seen a heist drama before, you might enjoy it.
But if you’ve seen even a couple of good heist films, this will feel bland to you.
